We've been bad bloggers! We've been terribly distracted as we've started our ADOPTION JOURNEY!! :)
Not sure how our dual-citizenship blogging is going to go (my guess is I will default to only one). BUT, if you want to join us at our new kopp adventures site....we'd love to see you there.

Lots of Sporting Events!
We've been able to have some fun with friends at some local sporting events lately!
We got to go to the last Kings game with Bamma and Papa.
We got to watch the last game that Nick Adenhart pitched. He pitched a great game and it was a little surreal when we heard he was killed by a drunk driver.

A friend of ours coached his high school basketball team to victory in the finals this year. Other friends of ours were able to have their company suite for the night and let Jacob and Matt join them. Jacob had a great time!

Getting Real :)
At this point in life, it is apparent I am not going to get "caught up" on my blogging...so here's a few pics of more current life, for those of you who still check this blog!
Jacob continues to be the ham of the family...he is always doing something to make us laugh!
We've got to have some visits from Grammy and Pops! The boys love their Grandparents...and I think they like them a little bit too...

Jacob rides a roller coaster....but you can't technically see him on it. He really did do it though - and said it was only a "little bit" scary!

Pops is my hero!

Fun at California Adventure with Grammy in March.

Going Way Back....
Before Christmas, we spent a very fun weekend at Disneyland with Bamma and Papa enjoying the Christmas sights....
We were able to do a lot of things we don't usually get to do (like stay at Disneyland Hotel, watch an amazing Christmas show with 600 member choir, and do Disney dining with the characters!). It was a wonderful start to our Christmas season and a memory we will cherish!

I was tagged!
Here we go - 7 Random things:
1. I love going through the mail, including junk. There is something incredible about looking at a pile of "stuff" (especially after being gone for 10 days) and making nice little piles of it. And all of the recycling to boot - love it!
2. I am jealous of my Spokane and Minneapolis girlfriends who get all homemaker-y together! I love my OC friends dearly, but we certainly don't get together to cook, can, and be creative. Maybe it's too much sunshine?
3. I miss Greenbluff something awful - for all of the reasons you would think of. And because I love the cheesy honkey-tonk music you'd always hear at that one farm...
4. I have been fighting the urge to put on Christmas music...but will probably give in within the week.
5. I don't like to snorkel. I am too squeemish. I don't want the fish to touch me. My husband LOVES to snorkel. So...I snorkel.
6. I get really excited about the thought of adoption. I hope the Lord has it in His plans for us soon!
7. I am a MAC girl now. I swore for years I wouldn't give into the peer pressure. But when I stopped working, I gave up my PC and happily joined the MAC family.

It's been over a month since the last post. What have we been doing?
Enjoying time with friends at the beach...
Getting Andrew's photos taken. (we tried to put Jacob in them too...but he refused. maybe next time!)

Playing around with family. And enjoying Jacob's (and Matt's!) new love for golf.

Enjoying Andrew's new faces. Not to mention the smell of clean babies - it's hard to beat the smell of a freshly washed baby!

Jacob's been learning more verses. This is Amos 5:24, if you need a toddler translation. There is also a greeting for Grammy and Pops at the end.
